New DSI office and warehouse in Florida

DYWIDAG-Systems International USA, Inc. (DSI) announces the opening of a new office and warehouse in Florida effective April 15, 2004.

This office will focus on meeting the specific monostrand needs of general and shell contractors throughout the state of Florida, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

DSI USA, Inc. will offer a complete range of products for all monostrand and barrier cable applications including all repairs related to building structures. The contacts for this new office will be the staff listed below:

Yosbany Ballate has been with DSI for more than 5 years. He started his engineering career doing monostrand design and job site inspections. He also has experience in cable stay and other post-tensioning systems.

Mauro Barbosa has recently joined DSI. He has 4 years experience in the monostrand industry, mostly in the Florida area. His engineering career involved both design and job site inspection experience and he has been involved in solving field problems on a multitude of impressive structures.

This new office is part of DSI America, a leading U.S. post-tensioning company active in all types of construction - high rise condos, parking structures, highway structures, cable stay bridges, tanks, and repair of all types of concrete structures. It is a member of the DSI Group, headquartered in Munich Germany, having related companies across the Americas and around the globe. This local office will be able to apply the depth of experience and technical expertise of the global group to the Florida market.

DSI is a leading member of both the Post Tensioning Institute and American Segmental Bridge Institute organizations. Our engineers are very active on the various committees and are striving to improve the industry standards. The DSI systems have several state approvals as well as IBC approvals.
