DYWIDAG- Systems International (DSI) acquires TUBUS Portugal

On May 2nd, 2007, DSI acquired the trading division of TUBUS Sistemas de Engenharia in Portugal. TUBUS as market leader looks back on more than 40 years’ successful activities in the supply of concrete accessories and equipment for the construction industry.

The company’s product range includes formwork, form ties, scaffolding and concrete accessories for the construction industry. TUBUS is well known in the market as a competent partner and supplier. Clients especially value its high technical expertise and excellence in service.

The merger of DSI Portugal and TUBUS constitutes a step forward in the Portuguese market for both companies. Besides the products of TUBUS and the generic DSI business in Post Tensioning and Geotechnics, DSI Portugal will be representing and selling all concrete accessories and solutions of the following DSI companies:

Mandelli Setra - Formwork accessories
Artéon Lifting Tools - Lifting tools
Contec - Sealings and Foundation formworks

Thus, TUBUS can expand its business on the Iberian Peninsula and Portuguese territories by providing a larger product range and extending technical service to its customers.
